Pint of Origin SOUTH AUSTRALIA returns to Near & Far in Fitzroy in 2025 with all 21 taps pouring Heaps Good brews sent exclusively across the border from SA. We've searched far and wide to get a huge array of beers from independent breweries in Adelaide and Regional SA, most of which have never been seen in Melbourne before.
We'll have a series of events over the week, including beer launches, tap takeovers, tastings and a return for last years super popular Foodie Event so stay tuned for full details.

Frog Cake collab launch!
After the wild success of last year’s Frog Cake Ale we just had to revisit this, and have teamed up with @littlebangbrewing to brew our next collab brew in the Frog Cake series that will be launched on opening night this Friday.
Saturday May 10
Showdown Shout!
This year #PoO25 coincides with the first AFL Showdown of the year which is always an epic clash that doesn’t get the coverage it deserves in Vic. So we’re throwing a party on Saturday 10th and @mismatchbrewing and @bigshedbeer are shouting the beers for y’all until the first goal is kicked in each half! Pick your side and settle in for the match.
Thursday May 15
Pint of Origin Pot Run
A special Pint of Origin edition of our weekly Thursday Run Club. Meet at Near & Far at 6.30pm for a leisurely 5km run via 2 other PoO venues where we will stop in for a pot of whatever takes your fancy on their taps. Then we return to N&F for half price beers and some yakitori skewers! No booking required, just show up ready to jog!

Heaps Good SA Feast
We’re going out in style on Sunday 18th for the last day of the festival with a Heaps Good SA Feast cooked up yakitori style by our favourite Adelaide Masterchef @michael_weldon alongside our main man on the hibachi grills @kenchiu_ozs , all paired with SA brews. Super limited tickets go on sale Wednesday for this one so keep those eyes peeled
