This Pint of Origin, Mr West is proudly showcasing the brewing traditions and innovation of Scotland, England and Wales, alongside a curated selection of traditional-style beers from local producers and collaborative brews crafted especially for Pint of Origin.
Across ten days, we’ll be tapping into the rich diversity of UK beer culture with a series of thoughtfully programmed events. Expect tap takeovers, stylistic deep-dives, and fun food pairings. Highlights include a decadent showcase of Vault City’s pastry sours and stouts paired with nostalgic sweets and treats, a hop-forward celebration of UK IPAs featuring sought-after releases from Cloudwater, and a weekend dedicated to classic UK ales from heritage breweries like Belhaven, St Austell, and Theakston.
There’ll also be a bar shout with Sobremesa, pouring an English-style golden real ale, plus a special edition of Mr West Run Club, ending with a well-earned pot of beer.
Whether you're into bold modern expressions or timeless traditional styles, Pint of Origin at Mr West is a love letter to UK brewing – past, present and future.

Friday May 9
Vault City x Good Land x Mr West collab launch and tap showcase
We’re kicking things off with a triple-threat collab launch! A showcase of beers from Vault City and Good Land Brewing, plus a free tasting in the bottleshop by Good Land from 6–8pm. Featuring the official release of our three-way collab beer, brewed by our mates at Good Land.
Saturday May 10
Vault City x Mr West Corner Shop
A full showcase of Vault City’s world-famous pastry sours and stouts, paired with corner shop-inspired treats – think sweets, lollies and nostalgic favourites to match the beers on pour.
Sunday May 11
Run Club - Pint of Origin Edition
Meet at 12.30pm for a 12.45pm departure. Choose a 2.5km or 5km loop, then finish back at the bar for a free post-run pot. All paces welcome!
Wednesday May 14
Hump Day IPA
Midweek hops incoming. A celebration of UK IPAs, including Cloudwater’s 10th birthday releases, fresh and highly sought after.
Friday May 16
Traditional Ale Weekender
We’re finishing strong with a tribute to the classics. Malt-forward, balanced and cask-inspired beers from Moore, Belhaven, St Austell, Badger, Theakston, Greene King and more.
Saturday May 17
Bar Shout with Sobremesa
Casey from Sobremesa Fermentary is shouting a few pots and pouring his English-style Golden Real Ale. A relaxed afternoon with great beer and good chat. More details to follow.
